Sheena has been an educator for more than 10 years. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in early childhood education with a cognate in reading at Jackson State University. Sheena completed a master’s degree in reading and received bachelor degrees in childcare and family education and elementary education at JSU. She holds a current Mississippi Educator License including endorsements in prekindergarten, kindergarten and reading (K-12). Sheena has served as co-chair of the Mississippi Early Childhood Alliance (MECA) Conference and has served as the site coordinator for teacher education candidates pursuing a degree in elementary education.
