Three Students from Mississippi Were Named Presidential Scholars and 161 Were Named Across the U.S.
The White House selects scholars based on their academic achievement, artistic and technical excellence, essays, school evaluations, community service and leadership.
The U.S. Presidential Scholars Program has honored over 7,500 of the nations top performing students with an annual ceremony in Washington, D.C. The 2019 Ceremony will be held June 23rd where each student will receive a Presidential Scholar Medallion.
